The score in which I am using it has a very low tempo for which semibreve notes loop over the horn's 2 second sample length which has a noticeable silence in between loops. I might really like contrabassoon. I will check it out tomorrow. SSO comes in a single 440MB zip archive that unpacks to 503MB. So, fff is not a beautiful tone friendly volume, but you do get a properly chunky low register, which makes it awesome for second clarinet. Luckily, it does it itself without you having to go in and manually place the loops. Or you leave it in another folder and add it to the search path: on MuseScore edit -> preferences -> General tab -> Folders section -> SounFonts click on the pencil and add the search path.
